Product System Requirements

For Products: RPM Telco, Lighthouse HSE, Cube DMS, Quartz QMS:

The latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge on any supported device. Not all application functionality will be available in every supported browser or device.

For Products: RPM Telco Mobile App, Lighthouse HSE Mobile App, Cube DMS Mobile App, Quartz QMS Mobile App:

RPM’s mobile app is designed to run on Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS operating systems. Any other operating systems are out of scope and unsupported at this time.

Android

We support the last 3 major versions and any devices that can run said OS versions.

iOS

We support the last 2 major versions and any devices that can run said OS versions.

Devices

We have gathered a list of devices we consider should provide a good experience while using our apps.

The lists are by no means exhaustive, but are meant to provide a good starting point when considering which devices to purchase.

We have not tested each device listed but have reviewed their technical specifications, general market reviews, and are of the opinion that these devices will perform effectively.

The criteria we used to select these recommended devices are:

the device RAM memory

At least 2GB of RAM or more on iOS

At least 4GB of RAM or more on Android

the device is future proof

Android: the device was released during the last 3 years

iOS: the supported operating systems still supports the devices

Android

The Android ecosystem suffers from vendors that stop providing OS updates soon after release, even providing different levels of support depending on the model line. With that in mind, we recommend devices released in the last 3 years. Some of the older devices on this list may become obsolete quickly if the manufacturer stops providing updates.

The following list is not exhaustive and is meant to provide an overview of the best devices at different price points available in the market:

iOS / iPadOS

The following devices are the oldest in their line that we support:

- iPad Air 2 (2014)

- iPhone 6s/6s Plus (2015)

- iPad mini 4 (2015)

- iPhone SE 1st generation (2016)

- iPad 5th generation (2017)

- iPad Pro 9.7/10.5/12.9-inch (1st gen) (2015)

Hardware Updates

As operating systems evolve, hardware must be updated. An RPM Subscriber that utilizes the mobile app should expect to replace their hardware approximately every three to five years.
