A supplier name change can be used to update a supplier name to a new one. This is helpful if the supplier goes through a change of ownership or acquisition. This change will update the display name and will not affect anything other than the name of the supplier on your reports.
Top Menu >> Suppliers
Click on the Supplier name you wish to change.
Click Edit.
Enter the new supplier name into the Supplier field. When done, click OK at the bottom to save the change.
The change will now be saved. Your reports should now reflect the new supplier name.
